Are there creative ways for us to finance Vital Med provider fees?


  • You could introduce our  nurse practitioner to your employees to allow them to sign up on their own individually, paying for our providers' services out of their taxable income.
  • If you offer an HSA or HRA, you could redirect the monthly fee from those buckets to pay our providers' fees.
  • You could choose to deduct the entire cost of our providers’ fees from your employees’ paychecks (pre-tax dollars for them).
  • You could choose to cost share our providers' fees with your employees by deducting their portion from their paychecks (still pre-tax dollars for them).
  • You could choose to pay our providers’ fees in their entirety ($by age/month/employee) for your employees. If you happen to be switching from a low-deductible plan to a high-deductible plan to reduce premiums, you could fund the payment from premium savings.

DOT/Work Physicals


What if our drivers only need a DOT medical exam?

Vital Med has  you covered. Our provider is a certified Medical Examiner and performs DOT medical exams for non-members for only $65. DOT Urine drug screens and DOT Alcohol testing are also available.

  When you use Vital Med for all your fleet DOT needs (medical exams, DOT UDS, and DOT Alcohol testing) you can get even lower pricing. 

As a courtesy to our long haul truckers, Vital Med also performs DOT medical exams on the weekends by appointment only for an additional fee of $30 for non-members ($20 for members).
